Bower Power makes artist designed, exquisite handmade ribbonflower accesories and decor featuring silk hand dyed by the artist, locally made ribbon, and other carefully selected materials, some of them vintage. Available Ribbonwork has the most up-to-date listing of pieces still available for sale; Ribbonwork and Ornaments has work that has already sold. (They sell so quickly I frequetly don't have a good representation of my work in stock.)

According to Oxford's dictionary, a Bower is "...a pleasant shady place under trees or climbing plants in a garden or wood."

About this site-Bower Power is a site-within-a-site. The site started as a way to showcase my paintings, ribbon flowers are a recent addition to my production. I didn't want to make Bower Power completely separate from my painting site, so as to "cross pollinate," that is, to expose people who happen upon my ribbonwork to my paintings and vice versa.

I'm sorry this website suffers for the lack of time I have to put into it! One of these days I really will get functioning buttons and a shopping cart. Currently, I can swipe credit and debit cards in person and invoice through paypal online.
